Indeed the smart phone is in the premium category unlike, the budget Gionee F106. The top end model of Gionee M2017 which features a customized alligator leather back is priced at ¥16,999 or  $2500, about, 1225000 Naira in Nigeria. Yes!, whooping 1225000 Naira in Nigeria.

Gionee M2017 has a 7000mAh battery capacity as never seen before in any Gionee Model. That is like the power of Dual 3500mAh capacity batteries.

Gionee M2017 is powered by Snapdragon 653 chipset and 6GB RAM. It has onboard Adreno 510 GPU. The smart phone comes with 128GB or 256GB inbuilt storage options with no provision for microsSD card slot for outsourcing for more additional storage space. And also no 3.5mm Headphone Jack, just as in, iPhone 7. Instead, a Bluetooth Headphone.

Gione M2017 is 5.7 inches in size with 2K curved screen which has pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440. The dimension is 155.2 x 77.6 x 10.78mm and the weight is 238g.  The smart phone runs Amigo 3.5 UI, customized Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating system.
